For those taxpayers who are unable to file electronically, pre-addressed Sales Tax (get Seller's Permit) forms are mailed annually. Returns are due on or before the 20th day following the end of the reporting period.

Returns must be filed and tax paid by the due date to the Department of Revenue, P. O. Box 960, Jackson, MS 39205. When the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, returns and payments must be filed online or postmarked by the first working day following the due date to be considered timely filed.

Online registration is available for all taxes. To register for a new tax account, go to TAP​ and follow instructions for online registration.
